New Delhi: State Bank of India (SBI) – the country’s largest lender by assets – said its internet banking services would not be available on July 16 for 150 minutes due to maintenance activities that will be undertaken by the bank. During this period, Internet banking / Yono / Yono Lite / UPI will be unavailable.

The public lender indicated on social media platform Twitter that services would be halted between 10:45 p.m. on July 16 and 1:15 a.m. on July 17. The shutdown period will last approximately 150 minutes, depending on the bank’s notice and at that time.

“We ask our valued customers to stay with us as we strive to provide a better banking experience. “Following the declaration, the notice issued with it stated:” We will undertake maintenance activities between 10:45 pm on July 16, 2021 and 1:15 am on July 17, 2021 (150 minutes). During this period, Internet Banking / YONO / YONO Lite / UPI services will be unavailable. We regret the inconvenience caused and ask you to be patient with us, ”SBI tweeted from its official Twitter account.

It should be mentioned that customers are unlikely to face any major difficulties as the bank will not be performing maintenance activities during peak hours.

Meanwhile, in another tweet, SBI advised its clients not to visit the branch unless necessary, as most banking services can be done from the comfort of their homes through or through the SBI mobile app. YONO.

Likewise, SBI previously warned its customers of an increase in online KYC fraud. The bank said in a statement that cases of KYC fraud are real and have proliferated across the country.
