SBI UPI, YONO and internet banking will remain closed on this day: here’s why

All Indian banks are required to undertake scheduled maintenance services in order to keep their banking services running smoothly. This avoids sudden repairs and outages in their net or mobile banking services. Maintenance work is completed by giving customers a deadline and, if done successfully, they maintain the maximum functionality and availability of their banking services to higher standards.

As a result, the country’s largest lender, the State Bank of India (SBI) alerted its clients about scheduled maintenance tasks. Internet Banking, YONO, YONO Lite and UPI services would be unavailable during scheduled maintenance, according to a tweet from the bank. State Bank of India internet banking downtime are shown below.

SBI said, “We ask our valued customers to stay with us as we strive to provide a better banking experience. “

The bank said via its Twitter account that “in order to provide an improved customer experience and security, we are preparing our system upgrade activities and this will now be between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on October 10, 2021 (60 minutes). During this period, Internet banking / YONO / YONO Lite / YONO Business / UPI / E-Pay / ATM will be unavailable. “

The bank further added that “We regret the inconvenience caused and ask you to be patient with us.”

As an important update, SBI also cautioned its customers against “Don’t be fooled by the offer of free rewards! Think before you act. Stay alert.”

SBI urged its customers not to fall prey to scams that require you to accept free gifts, free cash backs, free products, free coupons, or free access to your personal credentials.
