New Delhi: The State Bank of India (SBI) today announced that some of its digital services will remain unavailable for certain hours over the next three days due to the scheduled upgrade of the lender’s digital banking platforms.

The State Bank of India will undertake maintenance activities between 10:45 p.m. on May 21 and 1:15 a.m. on May 22 and between 2:40 a.m. and 6:10 a.m. on May 23, 2021.

In a statement posted on SBI’s official Twitter account, he tweeted: “We will be undertaking maintenance activities between 10:45 p.m. on May 21, 2021 and 1:15 a.m. on May 22, 2021 and between 2:40 and 6:10 a.m. on May 23, 2021. period, online banking / YONO / YONO Lite / UPI will remain unavailable.

The SBI regularly carries out maintenance activities and informs its customers upstream so that they can plan their financial activities in advance.

Last month, the bank’s digital banking platforms including Yono, Yono lite, online banking and the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) were affected due to maintenance.

SBI has the largest network with over 22,000 branches and over 57,889 ATMs across the country. As of December 31, 2020, it had 85 million internet banking users and 19 million mobile banking users. The number of UPI users of the bank stood at 135 million at the end of December.
